Orig. published in London in 1959, this is still the FIRST BRITISH EDITION, but a 1960 reprint, exactly same look & contents. Oversized hardcover has pink-and-white gingham paper-covered boards with a photo of the lonely doll in the center of the front cover; green cloth-wrapped spine shows slight tearing in places. Condition is solidly Good: clean, with some random spots. Former owner's name in pen on ffep; NO other writing, highlighting or underlining; NOT ex-lib. Sewn binding is strong & secure.
