Exterior shows spotting, mainly to the finish of the cloth along with some edge and corner bumps. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. Pages are toned due to age and some foxing is present. Both pastedowns and end pages show toning along the outside edge which was likely caused by a book cover/jacket, which is no longer present.

Moderate cracking to gutters causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has slightly heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear.

Tissue protected color frontis and B&W illus. Condition is VERY GOOD ; corners and ends of spine have wear, no fraying. Covers very clean and fresh with the gilt just slightly rubbed. Front hinge is a tad loose to the touch, with no signs of cracking at all. Text is clean and bright with no markings. Travel. Stax.
