Préface en anglais du premier texte : "The authors of this arrangement of scripture, confidently lay their little work before the public, sure that the word of god has not been deceitfully handled, and that he never will permit that word, to return unto him void. In this day of much christian profession they were led to see the deep necessity of not alone being, called by the name of the lord, but of earnestly striving to be followers of jesus. They searched the word of life their own instruction, and having found this arrangement profitable to their own soul, they are desirous of presenting it to others, that they too may see how needful it is for those who, name the name of christ to depart from iniquity, and they earnestly pray that, by the blessing of god, themselves and others may become, not in name only, but in spirit and in truth."- Reliure en très bon état et intérieur frais, à noter cependant que le nom de la propriétaire est inscrit à la plume sur la page de garde, que la page de faux-titre du premier texte est partiellement tronquée, et que la page de titre du premier texte présente une tâche d'encre, reste un assez bon exemplaire.
