NY: Museum of Modern Art, 1991. First Edition. 4to, pp. 135. Publilshed to accompany an exhibition. With 100 color plates and 39 black-and-white illustrations. A nice copy in somewhat scuffed dj. Constructivist artist and designer Popova (1889-1924) was active in Russia during WWI and the Russian Revolution. She contrributed to Constructivist theory and to Soviet utopian efforts to establish a scientific basis for the creation of art.
