Published in 1916 in First Edition by Chatto & Windus, London, and with a Review Copy slip laid in, with a signed title and date to June 25, 1915. Published in tall quarto format, light gray paper over boards, tan linen-backed. Paper-backed Brodart sleeve is holding the light brown printed dust wrappers together, though they are extensive worn and chipped. Preface by Emile Verhaeren, translated by Geoffrey Whitworth from the original Flemish, and at 56 pp. A dozen lovely black-and-white woodcuts of village scenes by the author and artist.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
