by Elbert Hubbard

Condition: Good-/None

This almost antiquarian book set is in good condition. The front, back, spine, and edges are worn considerably on all volumes. The corners of all the volumes are bumped. The pages are yellowed and tanned and the edges are tattered an torn. There are no visible marking in the volumes and they read perfectly.

"The purpose of a guide-book is to direct you and give you bearings. When you go into a strange city, oftentimes you are bewildered by the many things to be seen, Where shall you begin? There is so much of it, and all so wonderful! How can you take it all in?
The fourteen volumes of Elbert Hubbard's masterpiece, Little Journeys to the Homes of the Great, are like a rich walled city, of spires, cathedrals, palaces and art galleries, with winding streets and fragrant courtyards full of vivid personalities...." - Foreword from Guide Book for Little Journeys To The Homes Of The Great
