Good. - 16mo [4-5/8 inches high by 3-7/8 inches wide], dark blue cloth decorated in blind and titled in gilt with profuse decorations in gilt on the spine. The binding is lightly rubbed & the corners of the covers are bumped & chipped. The head & tail of the spine are chipped. 95 pages. Illustrated with a title vignette & with a woodcut illustration at the head of each of the 46 titles. There is scattered light foxing & soiling. Good.
Aesop's fables are retold for young people in prose and verse.
