Tipped neatly to an inner flyleaf is an interesting printed ephemeral item, a 5 3/4" X 8 3/4" announcement of a "Byrd Prize Letter Contest" sponsored by the publisher soliciting essays on "The Value, to the Civilized World, of the Byrd Antarctic Expedition."
