First printing of the Sidewinder edition, Fine minus, unread book with very slight touches of wear at spine ends, in a Fine dust jacket. This was Hillerman's third Joe Leaphorn mystery. Introduction by Peter MacDonald, past Chairman of the Navajo Nation. Dust jacket art and illustrations by the Navajo artist Ernest Franklin. This copy has been signed by Tony Hillerman in red ink on the title page.
