New York: The South Publishing Press (for Hamburg-American Line), 1908. Original Edition. Softcover. Good, tight copy; some light soiling and with notations next to some names. Name of Mary L. Haines (First-Class passenger) on front cover in pencil.. Ivory stapled wraps with embossed blue art nouveau HAPAG insignia. 24 pp. Atlantic route map on back cover. Classic ocean liner memorabilia. This was for the crossing from New York to Hamburg with stops at Plymouth and Cherbourg, sailing Saturday, June 27, 1908 at 10:00 am. Listed are all passengers for first and second cabin classes, sailing schedules and routes with railway connections, summer cruises within Europe, and all the usual information for passengers sailing Trans-Atlantic (baggage, money, music, telegrams, etc.). Much is written in both English and German. Includes brief information about the line's sailings from Hamburg to South America. The Hamburg-American Line (Hamburg Amerikanische Packetfahrt Actien Gesellschaft / HAPAG) later became Hapag-Lloyd. Scarce.
