Light blue cloth lettered in silver on the spine; cloth heavily faded and a little foxed at the head of the front cover (in an uneven strip), and at the foot of the spine, and (to a lesser degree) to a thin strip at the head of the rear cover, and the front bottom corner-tip; spine unevenly sunned in the centre (behind the rectangular pictorial panel on the spine of the dustwrapper); edges and endpapers slightly foxed, with minor offsetting to the endpapers; overall, a presentable copy (internally in excellent condition) with the original first-issue dustwrapper price-clipped, torn and worn with some loss; however, the book and dustwrapper are now made significantly more visually attractive by the simple expedient of having a plain dustwrapper of paper of a similar colour inserted between them.
