Binding cracked inside front and back cover. Raised bands with gilt decorations on spine. Gilt lettering on spine: "Cowper's Works / Grimshawe / V" Frontispiece engraving of Cowper's House at Weston; facing is illustrated title page with another engraving. Corners & spine are worn. Top page edges are darkened. Foxing to frontispiece & illustrated title page & endpapers, but not throughout text..
