New York: Henry Holt and Company. Good+ with no dust jacket. (1928). First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Black cloth cover with worn gilt illustration on top cover, lettering on spine darkened and illegible. Binding sound. Large stain on back cover is difficult to see. Minor bumps to corners, some wear to head of spine and finger marks on cover. Staining to top edge of text block that does not intrude into the pages. Pages are clean and unmarked with a little tanning. Sewn in bookmark present. Small sticker remnant on rear free endpaper. No printing dates on copyright page indicates 1st edition. ; Drawings; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 350 pages .
