New York: W.J. Widdleton, 1877. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. 305p; 2p advertisements. A hardcover book bound in light blue cloth with gilt trim. Light speckling all over the cloth. Corners and spine ends mildly rubbed and bumped. Early owner's bookplate inside front cover and signature on a blank front endpaper. Patchy tanning on pages 60-61. Light stain on side foredge, toughing the tips of pages 267 through the end. Otherwise, text unmarked and binding secure. A nice collectible for the Poe fan! Illustrated with several black and white plates and a frontispiece portrait of Edgar Allan Poe.
