About This Item
Toronto, Ontario, Canada: University of Toronto Press, 1968. Oversized trade paperback, later (1975) printing, ix + 316 pages including two-page map, plus black-and-white full page drawings; book very gently read, if at all, spine and covers flat/uncreased, tight in binding, hardly a trace of shelf wear, tiny hand-printed Dewey library code label clear taped on spine (but no other library markings inside or out), otherwise very clean and unmarked throughout, pages fresh and white, but sadly the front cover is seriously flawed as the lamination has been somehow almost completely removed. See also our listing for Glazebrook's The Story of Toronto, and for the extremely scarce A Shopper's View of Canada's Past: Pages from Eaton's Catalogues, 1886-1930, with an Introduction by G. de T. Glazebrook, and Essays by Katharine Brett and Judith McErvel.. Soft Cover. Very Good -.
