Author's Foreword dated Feast of the Annunciation, 1928 at Portland, Oregon. Foreword by Edward D. Howard, Archbishop of Portland in Oregon. Preface by A. M. Skelly, O.P. X V I Chapters, 202 pp. plus Index. Book has red cloth covered boards with gilt text on spine and stamped edge front panel, top edge dyed red, frontis: B/W photograph " Mother Catherine Aurelia of the Precious Blood " and 4 other B/W photographs. Book is tight and square with age toning to text block, rubbed spine ends, 9 library stamps blacked out, card pocket remnant rfep. Book is from the Library of the Sisters of Providence in Kingston, Ontario. Plain brown with dark brown edging DJ is plastic protected, only flaws being where DJ was taped and 1 1/2" closed tear at head of rear flap. Bookseller's Inventory # 154662.
