Bound in green, blue and white cloth with gold lettering. A uthor's signature has been tipped onto the front fly. The subject of t he book, C.J. Jones, has also signed the copy below Grey's tipped-in s ignature. The front endpaper has "Signed by 'The Last Plainsmen'" penc illed at the upper left corner. Under Zane Grey's signature is written "One of America's greatest Authors" in blue ink. Illustrated with bla ck & white photos by Grey. 8vo (8 1/2" x 5 1/2") size, 314pp. A Very G ood copy. The cloth covers are mildly faded and dull and show some rub bing to the edges. Small frays to the spine tips. Moderate soiling to spine and covers. Light foxing to the upper edges of a few pages and a few other pages have been roughly opened else content is clean, unmar ked and reasonably tight. .

Leighton, PA: Leighton High School. 1932. Hardcover. Very Good with no dust jacket; Two Yearbooks From Leighton High School, Leighton, Pennsylvania, 1931 and 1932. Franz Kilne was a student there and was Artist for the Yearbook in his Junioi Year. Most of the cartoons and decorations were done by him. His Signature appears in both books. Franz Kline was part of abstract expressionist movement in New York City in the 1940's and 50's. Both Books are in good condition. The 1931 Yearbook has a weak and loose spine. The 1932 Yearbook has a weak spine. Both have some edgewear. ; B&W Illustrations .

Lacking the legend below the image. One of Sadeler's three "Kitchen" scenes, this one with Lazaraus seen from behind at right with two dogs,, seated and looking at a dinner table with the rich man, a kitchen with a maid tending a spit over a fire and other servants preparing food. The wall has a display of plates, pots and aging game hanging from hooks, some fish in a basket, and vegetables and a broken egg in the foreground, a boy taking a basket with eggs from under the table, and a monkey behind him. After Jacopo Bassano, c. 1598. The engraving was laid down onto another sheet of paper at some point in the mid 20th century, having been trimmed to the edges of the image at some earlier date. The rarest of the Juanita Brooks' books. The trade edition was not issued until the following year. Very good plus to near fine in full blue cloth with blue top-edge stain. 404 pages with frontispiece portrait of John Doyle Lee. Illustrated with maps, plates, and portraits. This true first printing omits the last three paragraphs on page 376 regarding Lee's reinstatement to membership in the Mormon Church. Clean and tight with crisp text. Decorative engraved double-page title, statistics table, and 92 numbered double-page maps. At the rear are an additional 6 double-page maps of the continents, and two large folding maps of France and the two-hemisphere Mappemonde. Bound at the rear is a final map, a single-page Carte Speciale, of the war in Italy, dated 1859. Almost all maps have contemporary colouring in outline. Some chipping at lower spine, a bit of wear along upper hinge, inner front hinge cracking, an attractive very good copy in general. A complete copy, 101 Maps in all, plus the decorative title.

Each etching signed by Bishop and numbered I/VII. Publisher's gray clamshell cloth box, upper cover and spine lettered in gilt. One of seven sets of artist's proofs, with each of the 8 etchings signed and numbered by Bishop, a groundbreaking twentieth-century social realist. Upon packing up her Union Square studio in 1983, Bishop discovered a small group of original copper printing plates from 1930-1959 which had only been used for one or two proofs and had otherwise not been printed.
