Vol., I - 1855, xvi, 504 pp.; Vol. 2 -1855, xii, 518 pp.; Vol. 3-1856, xiv, 523 pp; Vol. 4. - 1857, x, 418 pp.. Maps. In Volume 3 the author makes explanation that 3 volumes will not be sufficient to cover the material. An attractive set with worn extremities; the gold lettering and front board boarder remain bright. There is heavy foxing on the frontispieces and tissue but quite minimal elsewhere; vol. IV is missing the tissue guard; Vol. I the title page is partially separated. Volume 1 & 3 have water stains on the preliminaries. An attractive, solid set. ; 8vo ; fair .
