Paris: Libraries Felix Alcan et Guillaumin Reunies, 1909. Book. VG+. Cloth. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Cinquieme ( 5th) edition, so stated. Rebound in burgundy cloth with gilted tiles to the spine and a full page , paper pasted label replicating the title page in period type face. This copy is VG+. The exterior is clean and rich with only a hint of wear . Inside has neat PO signature on FEP, otherwise unmarked, crisp, and tightly bound. EPS are as new as the exterior. Text block is moderately, evenly toned. 403 pp. with 32 pp. of Felix Alcan's catalog of history and philosophy at the end dated June 1908. Originally published in 1907, an edition this early is RARE, easily warranting the excellent rebinding ..
