Original quarter leather binding with small tear to top of spine near hinge, and minor shelfwear. Tan leather spine; blue gilt-lettered spine label; blue paper-covered boards. Illustrated with an engraved frontis. Complete with half title page, engraving and errata leaf. Bookplate neatly on front paste-down endpaper. Small ink stain below engraving, owner's name neatly on half-title page, small loss to margin of errata leaf, and a few spots of staining in text. Bound with another work by Medicus; full title "Lettre au C. Francois (du Neufchateau), Membre du Senat Conservateur, de l'Institut national de de la Societe d'Agriculture du Departement de la Seine, etc. Sur le Robinier; par F. C. Medicus: Traduit de l'allemand. Pour faire suite a l'ouvrage intitule: Lettre sur le Robinier, etc. par le Cit. Francois (de Neufchateau)." Published by A.-J. Marchant, Paris, 1804: 1st edition. 36 pages of text including 5 pages of publisher's advertisement. Meaures 17 cm (height) or almost 6.75 inches. Text is in French..
