White paper over boards with gilt spine lettering and front board device. xvi, (4pp), 180pp. Tissue-guarded frontispiece, tissue-guarded plates. Uncut. Very good. Binding clean and nice but typically a tad age toned; bit of mild occasional foxing; neat 1929 ownership signature on front flyleaf. An attractive and tight first edition of this correspondence of the Winchester bishop and Corpus Christi College founder.
