Hand numbered and signed by printer John Wilson & Son. Translated by Frank Hunter Potter. With Illustrations by Madame Madeleine Lemaire (full page color illustrations with printed tissue guards). Decorative headpieces by George Wharton Edwards. Decorated American trade binding - white cloth with silver and gold decoration and lettering on cover and spine. Moderate overall soiling to cloth; wear to cloth (surface chipping) at head and tail of spine. Binding is tight & square, pages and edges are clean. Deckled page edges. Previous owner inscription on front free endpaper. One page (101-102 has closed tear approx. 3" from edge extending slightly into text.) 263 pages..
