About This Item

Boston: Ginn and Company, 1899. Hardcover. Edited by James A. Harrison. 16mo. Dark green cloth with pale green lettering and decoration. xxi, 193pp, (6pp ads). Good plus. Binding a tad edgeworn; mild ex-library, with few markings and couple of convent name/address inkstamps. A tight and decent later printing of these letters (entirely in French) of the famed French aristocrat Marie de Rabutin-Chantal (1626-96). Preface in English.
