Three volumes complete - Volume One - 'Letters' (pub. 1897), xxviii, 343pp, [1]; Volume Two - 'Letters' (pub. 1897), xiv, 377pp, [1] and Volume Three - 'Charles Lamb', x, 226pp. Uniformly bound in full calf, semi-raised bands, spines in six panels, title lettered direct to second panel, author / volume to third, remaining panels with central flower gilt device and volute corner pieces, covers with gilt roll border, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, all edges marbled, with marbled endpapers. Slightly rubbed to extremities, spines slightly faded, tiny chip to spine of first volume of letters, internally quite bright and clean. Engraved portrait frontispiece to volume one of the Letters. An attractive set. Reprint. Full Calf. Good+. 12mo.
