*Adelle Davis - changed the way books were marketed to Housewives, she would have luncheons at department stores & give nutritional talks... my mother was a big fan.... she became a local leader in the Los Angeles nutrition Society..... I love the - dedication to my daughter, Barbara in the hope that her husband, children will not have to eat TV dinners... I remember when TV dinners first came out, kind of controversial, the thing divorcees fed their children......Let's Cook It Right, New Rev. Good food's a symbol of love, having psychological value which may even exceed its sensory - physiological contributions ........ Hard covered book in good condition. Red covers are good with gold titling on front board and spine. Spine is tight. Pages are all good with some stains and checking on page edges. Does this book look new? No it does not but it does look cared for and lovingly used. yes a stain here and there, a mark or so but nothing that restricts the book use or readability. Especially the page on making pancakes these people must have eating a lot of Pancakes -- A book that conveys information that is probably more needed today then when written....
