The corners and spine ends are bumped. No dust jacket, and there is sun-fading on the spine and part of the front binding. The book contains library stamps and pocket. This book is written in a lively, often thrilling manner, and in addition to a frontispiece, it contains 18 full-page b/w illustrations of historical interest.
