Some peeling leather to spine and edges.

In 'Told Through The Ages' series.Third edition and about twentieth printing. In quite good and clean brown cloth boards with gilt titles and decoration to front and back strip. The covers have collapsed hollow and are wobbly; one inch tear from tail end of spine cloth. Unmarked light brown mottled end papers. Dark brown tinted top cut edge; the fore and tail edges are tanned. The text block is in quite good condition; well-read, a little loose from covers, fairly clean, with light foxing on a few pages. No inscriptions etc.

The text is illustrated with 8 black-and-white photographs / illustrations in the text. Illustrated dustwrapper with white and dark pink coloured titles to the front panel and dark pink coloured titles the back strip. Title says it all. Rubbing of the book corners and of the back strip edges. Age toning and foxing to the text block edges with age toning of the pages. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and a little to the back strip corners.
