Scribner's, 1944. Hardcover. Good. Three volumes in the publisher's slipcase; early printings. Bindings firm, but one cracked in hinge in Vol. II and one in Vol. III. Dustjacket spines are sunned, and two have small chips at the tops of the spines. Four joints of the slipcase separated, now repaired with clear tape.
