A good tight copy. Original publisher' cloth - embossed in black to the spine. A smallish chip to the head of the spine. No ink inscriptions. The paper has normal age toning. There is a notable stain to the out upper page corner of the last 80pages (around 40 leaves) becoming heavier, covering a larger area and generally more noticable towards the rear of the book. There are tiny chips to the same corner of the last three leaves. A good, tight copy of a scarce first edition.
