John Murray. London.,1862. Second edition, revised.The preface notes that a few corrections or confirmations have been supplied by a visit to Constantinople and Mount Athos. 8vo. Fold out hand coloured map. A few pages have small pencil lines in the page margins, which could be easily rubbed out. Previous owners inscription, dated 1863, on half title. A very good copy in contemporary full tan calf binding. Boards with blind dot roll and double gilt ruled borders. Spine with five raised bands,decorated in gilt. Compartments fully gilt. Red label, ruled and lettered in gilt. Marbled endpapers. All edges marbled. Front board scratched and edges a bit rubbed but still overall a very attractive binding.:
