Good. <p>Kazdan notes that this book is a slightly modified extract from the Harvard University Lecture Notes "Intermediate Calculus and Linear Algebra". <p>Jerry Lawrence Kazdan [born 31 October, 1937] is a mathematician noted for his work in differential geometry and the study of partial differential equations. His contributions include the BergerKazdan comparison theorem, which was a key step in the proof of the Blaschke conjecture and the classification of Wiedersehen manifolds. Since 1966, he has been a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania.
