Mount Vernon: Peter Pauper Press, n.d.. Edition limited to 1,100 copies, of which this is copy #464.. Very Good. 37 cm; 400, [8] pages, and 15 full-color woodblock illustrations by Hanna. List of patrons at end. In 1/4 leather over decorated paper boards, preserved in original publisher's slipcase with paper label. Titled in gilt on spine. Top edge gilt, edges untrimmed. Some slight wear to joints and spine, and of course to the slipcase. Contents fine.
Colophon: "Of this commemorative edition eleven hundred copies have been printed. They types used are Waverly and Lydian; the paper was specially mould-made for this book by the Hurlbut Paper Company, and the binding was done by the Russell Rutter Company. The wood-engravings have been printed direct from the blocks.
