Lightly slanted spine. Water damage to top of book: loss of gilt to the previously dampened area of the upper cover & spine (3"x7" approx), light dampstain to corresponding area of lower cover, bleed & dampstain to endpapers & head spine extreme, light warp to topedge thoughout textblock, no smell. Vol II: 315pp. Teal cloth-covered boards with giltstamped titles & decoration. Lightly slanted spine. Dampstain to upper & lower covers (3"x7" approx, no gilt loss), not visible to interior, no warping to textblock. B&W photos, diagrams & maps throughout. Text in French. No dust jackets. Covered in protective mylar by seller.
