DJ is chipped at spine ends and corners, several small closed tears, small chip to upper rear edge. Previous owner's details to front free end paper. Mild flecking to lower edge and light wear to spine ends and corners. 224 pages Denzil Batchelor[1906-1969] was a journalist, broadcaster and sports editor. He is chiefly remembered for his books on cricket and boxing. This is a nice copy of an uncommon fiction title. This book follows young boxer, Tom Barlow battling his way to the top. . 1st Edition. Hardback.
