Dark gray cloth hardcover with silver title on front board and spine. Illustrated dust jacket. Edge wear and edge creases to the dust jacket. A few brown spots on the dust jacket. Inscribed by author on the right front flyleaf. "To the Boy Scouts in memory of a scout - Elmer Ransom June 5th, 1944." Robert L. Humphries written name and stamp located below author's inscription. Previous owner's name initialed on front of dust jacket (RLH). Book came with a small (approx. 4.5" by 3.25") folded, printed poem on blue paper with the title "Privilege". Stories consist of outdoor interest. Previous owner of this book was a Georgia writer and Conservationist.
