About This Item

Charles Scribner's. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1969. First Edition. Hardcover. B0006CPCNC . Ex-library book, but still in quite good condition - mylar cover and usual ex-lib type of markings. Light edge/corner wear to cover and dustjacket, light soiling. Pages clean and tight, a few earmarks seen and light wrinkling to a few pages. The pursuit of an English gunrunner by an Indian political agent through the high mountain ranges behind Kashmir provides the framework for this sensitive and unusual portrayal of an Anglo-Indian from youth to manhood. Through the long journey over the mountains, through storm & snow, we learn the strange story of their pasts - the pursuer and the pursued.... (545) ; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall .
