There is some foxing to the text. Some offsetting to the paper on the pages opposite the engravings. This volume is has 14 of 15 plates, LACKING the plate of Hatfield House opposite Pg. 137. This plate also lacks the leaf for pages 138-139, so two pages of text are missing. This volume runs from January to June, 1786 and contains the supplement and the Index at the rear.

Sehr informative Ausgabe, die in der Anzahl der Artikel ihre Vorgänger übertrifft.Das Grundwerk umfasst 12 Bände mit 21.000 Spalten (Spaltenzählung). Der Entwurf für den Bucheinband der Halbleder-Ausgabe stammte von dem berühmten Prager Illustrator und Buchkünstler Hugo Steiner.
