Fair/No Dust Jacket. Folio. Volume Three (ONLY), complete in two parts. Part one: "Les Habits, les Meubles, les Vases, les Monoyes, les Poids, les Mesures, des Grecs, des Romains, & des autres Nations (The clothes, the furniture, the vases, the monies, the weights, the measurements, the Greeks, the Romans, and the other Nations)" and Part two: "Les Bains, les Mariages, les grands & les petits Jeux, les Pompes, la Chaffe, la Peche, les Arts, &c. (The Baths, the Weddings, the Great and the Small Games, the Pumps, the Hunting, the Fishing, the Arts, &c.)" Part I: 198 pages, plus 121 plates; Part II: pp 202-390, plus plates 122- 197. 30 plates are folding. An additional plate titled "Imperatrice" and numbered XXVI follows plate No. 26. Full leather covers are worn and pitted. Covers remain attached, though with cracked hinges and joints. Some worn holes in margins. Contents are generally bright, crisp, and clean, though a few plates are affected by light foxing. Text block of both volumes remain tight and solid.
