About This Item

Los Alamos, NM: Los Alamos National Laboratory, Quality and Performance Assurance Division, 2015. Presumed First Edition/First Printing thus. Wraps. Very good. 24 pages. Illustrations (mostly in color). The LANL Mirror is a quarterly reflection that provides trending and analyses to help managers and employees anticipate issues, avoid problems, and improve performance. The "Mirror" is a key component of the Laboratory's Operating Experience Programs and its Contractor Assurance System. The Quality and Performance Assurance Division is responsible for developing and overseeing implementation of the Lab's quality assurance and contractor assurance programs that are part of the contract between Los Alamos National Security, LLC, the National Nuclear Security Administration and the U.S. Department of Energy. This also is the second consecutive year that QPA Division has received Piñon Recognition from Quality New Mexico. "Participation in the Quality New Mexico program and the feedback received during this process is extremely valuable in supporting the division's pursuit of excellence and will better position the division to support the Laboratory in meeting its mission and to drive increased customer satisfaction," said Ernie Petru, Los Alamos' Quality and Performance Assurance Division Leader. Performance Excellence signifies that organizations have demonstrated development and use of systematic processes as a foundation for analysis and improvement to attain improved organizational outcomes, according to Quality New Mexico's webpage.
