About This Item
Kobenhavn: Glydendalske Boghandel - Nordisk Forlag, 1942. Hardcover. 176p., numerous b&w site and portrait photos on inserted coated stock, a custom-bound travel/anthropology account entirely in Danish; the textblock consists of the softback original with its striking wraps well-preserved, now cased into quarter-leather over 10x7 inch marbled boards. The brown leather is pressed calf with black leather spine labels, not a well-tanned hide, the calf deteriorating around every extremity (but not yet returned to dust). A handleable copy, its hinges sound and entire item clean and unmarked. At close of text author Nielsen casts an eye on neighboring Laos and Thailand.
