English poet, short story writer, and novelist Joseph Rudyard Kipling (1865 - 1936) was one of the first Commissioners of Boy Scouts, a cause he remained devoted to. With that office in mind, this anthology brings together a collection of Kipling's short stories that take on the themes of bravery and honour in the face of adversity, particularly during war. With an international cast of characters set in a host of exotic and dangerous locations, this rich selection includes such tales as An Unqualified Pilot, The Burning Of Sarah Sands and An English School. All tales are eminently suitable for readers of all ages.
