New York: Harper & Brothers (No Date ca.1891). Original blue cloth covers w/ gilt title on spines and elaborate gilt sun on front covers. Bindings moderately soiled and rubbed. Wear to spine ends. Spines darkened. Vol. 1: Hinges cracked. Approx. 1/2" closed tear to top edge of front endpaper. Vol. 2: Hinges starting. Previous owner's name to top margin of title page of both volumes. Edges of leaves lightly age toned. Includes a folding color map in rear pocket of Vol. 1 w/ a couple small tears. Illust. w/ numerous b/w text illustrations.. Hard Cover. Good/No Dust Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
