A beautiful , near fine first edition published in the U.S. the same year as published in France...in striking blue cloth covered with gilt on front cover and spine...a small crimp on the back bottom edge board and a little crimping on the spine ends as well as the tips....interior is clean, unmarked (save for a dedication to the previous owner dated "Christmas 1900"), and tight...a delightful addition....
