Red cloth with embossed image of the Great Wall front and back, embossed Chinese characters ( front), and gilt lettering to the spine. 84 pp. 4 tipped in plates , including the frontispiece in B&W. Yellow EPs with gilt flecks. top edge dyed red.. This copy is VG. Outside has a small chip on top front edge, otherwise rich, clean , and with minimal / modest other edge, tip, or spine end wear. FEP has armorial BP of Ruth Meserve, long time Secretary of the Mongolian Society at Indiana University. Her business card also laid in. Hinges stating, but holding nicely. Text is unmarked, firmly bound with modest even toning. Uncommon as an UNnumbered copy and with nice provenance..
