The calendar for 1913 is interleaved with ads and testimonials for Dr. Pierce's patent medicines, said to: cure "women's troubles" such as "obnoxious examinations" (the medicine obviates them) and falling womb; act as "mother's friend.to make childbirth easy"; ease menstrual problems and menopause; cure ovarian tumors; &c. Included is an advert for Invalids' Hotel & Surgical Institute at Buffalo, NY. "Weak Women Made Strong, Sick Women Made Well." 5.25" x 3.25"
