The Bodley Head, 1987. Hardcover. Near Fine. A first edition, first printing published by The Bodley Head in 1987. A near fine book (one small name to the top of the front pastedown). Light spotting to the tanned page edges. Some light off-setting to the end-papers. SIGNED and DOODLED (with 'Knots and Crosses' emblem) to the title page. In a near fine unclipped wrapper which is a little faded to the spine and has some light off-setting to the end-flaps. A very nice copy of the author's first novel.
