London: Hodder and Stoughton Ltd 1935. Later Printing. Hardcover. Interesting gift inscription to the front free endpaper: horizontal arrow leading from the end of a pervious owner's 1938 inscription on the front paste-down to "to D. Grant, / lover of King's / (esp. Dead ones) / S. E Lanier / 1985". [That is, from genre author Sterling E. Lanier to publisher Donald M. Grant]. Cream/light tan cloth with black and red lettering/border, top edge stained blackish as issued, 327 pages, illustrated [including a color frontispiece], index. A history of the first 25 years of the reign of British monarch King George V [written in honor of his Silver Jubilee]. Good copy [cloth lightly soiled plus some light colored staining to the central spine along/near its rear edge, lightly bumped, faint fore-edge foxing; inscriptions aside the contents are tight and clean, lacking the jacket.
