About This Item
London: Arthur Barker. London, Arthur Barker, 1977. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A near fine copy. The first British hardback edition, preceded 45 years earlier by the Grosset and Dunlap edition. A novelisation by Lovelace based on a concept from Edgar Wallace and Merian C. Cooper. A very nice copy, marred by a 20mm closed tear to the top edge of the jacket (taped to rear). Another 10mm closed tear to the jacket foreedge. To the rear there's a 15mm tear with associated creasing. A presentable copy overall. Cover art by Grant Bradford [7485, Hyraxia Books]. . Near Fine. Hardback. 1st Edition. 1977.
