Signed by the author to the title page; 'Richard Harris, Savoy, 28/7/94. Richard, I'd love you to play the crazed, murderous, brilliant brain surgeon, poor Broukal (p.94), Dave MacSweeney'. Richard Harris was a noted Irish actor who passed in 2002. He was well known for his portrayals of Frank Machin in 'This Sporting Life', King Arthur in the 1967 film 'Camelot', and for his role of Albus Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter films, before his death. This book was signed at the Savoy, where Harris lived for the last several years of his life.
