Hardcover. 4to - 25 x 17 cm.; 315 - (1) pp. Pale yellow cloth over boards with gilt lettering on the spine and a small stamped red/blue penant on the front board. Tipped in small black and white frontis photograph of the author. Two maps in a pocket on the back paste down end paper: "Polacy. Plan Koncentracji Aktualny na Dzien i Wrzesnia 1939 nie Calkowicie Wykonany / Niemcy. Koncentracja Wojsk Niemieckich, Wedlug Wiadomosci Posiadanych Przez Polski Sztab Glowny w Dniu 31 Sierpnia 1939 R" and "Rzeczywisty Stan Koncentracji Wojsk Polskich i Niemiekich w Dniu i Wrzesnia 1939 Roku". Previous owner's initials on the back free end paper and on the half title page. The book shows mild wear to the externals bumped fore corners and spine tips. The front free end paper has some foxing. Otherwise the interior is clean and the binding is solid. The dust jacket is worn on the edges with general though mild soiling. .
